Sunday, May 24, 2015 - 1:00pm
Luminosa Armonia Chorale will fill the Gallery with their beautiful voices on Sunday, May 24. Luminosa Armonia is Tauranga Girls' College's leading choral group and over the years, they have received accolades both nationally and internationally.
The chorale consists of 35 students, selected from Year 9-13. The group changes each year, but in 2014 they were one of six girls choirs selected for the National Finals of the Big Sing Choral Competition in Auckland, and winner of a Silver Award at the National Finals.
The performance, which starts at 1.00pm, offers the girls an opportunity to rehearse in front of an audience in a different setting, and it will give visitors to the Gallery the chance to hear some of our city’s most talented young voices.
The Chorale will be joined by the school's Chamber Groups Forte Quartet, for who it will be their debut performance, and Trio Vivace.
