9 April 2016
How long does it take to look at a piece of art? Studies have found that people devote as little as eight seconds to each work in a gallery. But on Saturday April 9, gallery goers across the world will be invited to slow down.
Join Learning and Engagement Programmes Manager Hannah Wilson for a long hard look at six artworks on International Slow Art Day.
Activities and discussion will be prompted by the content of each of the works and the ideas of others. Learn the value of considering art SLOWLY and enjoy hearing other peoples' opinions by taking part in this social art appreciation project, happening worldwide.
This is a day to celebrate art.
To book into this slow art session please phone 07 578 7933 between 10am and 4.30pm.
Saturday 9 April 10.30am -12.30pm
