Te Puke-raised Joanna Langford has made this installation, which has an organic, whimsical feel about it, especially for the Gallery Atrium.
She enjoys making works for large spaces, and works that are "monumental in size but in reality quite fragile and light".
This installation enjoys a crossover of the artificial and the organic, with synthetic materials but an organic look and feel.
The exhibition title is a reference to the environment and nature, and our relationship with it - one which is constantly in flux.
