Gifted showcases a selection of works that have been gifted to Tauranga Art Gallery, and includes works by Tracey Williams, Robin White, Elizabeth Bailey, Trevor Pye, Mark Braunias, Edward Bullmore and Arthur Dagley. The works on display all have a connection with the Bay of Plenty. In each case the artists represented lived, or still reside, in the region.

Tauranga Art Gallery does not have an acquisitions budget. Since the Gallery opened in 2007, it has received several gifts including the significant Edward Bullmore collection in 2006, followed by the Nigel Brown/Susan McLaughlin collection in 2007.
