With these 12 works - five bronze and stainless steel sculptures and seven mixed media - Dave Roy offers a tribute to the ANZACs of the First World War. It is also personal tribute to his two great uncles who served at Gallipoli and Passchendale, as well as to the women who had to carry on and cope either without their husbands, sons, brothers, and fathers - or with men much changed if they did return.
The Whakamarama artist is self taught, and often uses recycled materials to assist in telling the story.
