ANZAC: Photographs by Laurence Aberhart
ANZAC is an exhibition of photographs by acclaimed New Zealand photographer Laurence Aberhart, and toured by Dunedin Public Art Gallery.
The exhibition brings together photographs of World War I memorials in New Zealand and Australia that feature a single figure or soldier.
For more than three decades Aberhart has been photographing memorials in New Zealand and Australia, travelling to cities and small towns to search for them.
His work has been exhibited widely in solo exhibitions throughout New Zealand and internationally, and is found in all major New Zealand public collections as well as many overseas.
