Anthony is our current Board Intern. He is an experienced educator, advisor and manager in tertiary education, local and central government sectors. With over 15 years of specialising in social and community development, Anthony is committed to making a meaningful contribution to our city and region.

 

Anthony is Head of Tauira (learner) Experience for Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, one of the Bay of Plenty’s largeest tertiary education providers, and leads teams specialising in marketing and recruitment, academic support, pastoral and disability support, and academic reporting. Anthony has MEd from the University of Waikato and is pursuing further study and research specialising in mātauranga Māori and youth development.

 

Originally from Te Awamutu, Tauranga is now very much home for Anthony, his wife and their three primary school-aged children. Art and creativity are a social good and Anthony is excited to be involved with the creative community in Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty.
