A selection of fashion plates from Rudolf Ackermann's 19th century publication Ackermann's Repository of the Arts, a monthly magazine which documented changing fashions in dress and furniture from 1809 - 1828.
The fashion plates are from Dunedin Public Art Gallery's Collection.
This deliciously feminine fashion exhibition includes 45 hand-coloured etchings associated with the romantic Regency period in Britain.
The fashion illustrations are among those made famous in dramatised versions of Jane Austen novels.
This exhibition is made possible thanks to generous support of the Venetta Miles Trust
