Young Friends of the Gallery

The Young Friends of the Gallery has been established with the aim of encouraging young people to have an active involvement in the arts.

Many of the group’s members are senior secondary school students who are studying art in school, and who want to extend their knowledge and appreciation of art through dedicated visits to the Gallery, floortalks, discussions and visits to other galleries and artists’ studios. Their involvement with the ‘Young Friends’ group aims to assist them with their studies and help them gain a better understanding of the industry with a view towards a possible career in the arts.

If you would like to know more about joining the Young Friends of the Gallery, phone the Gallery on 07 578 7933.
