More than one million New Zealanders are actively involved in volunteer work.

New Zealanders contribute 270 million hours of formal, unpaid work for non-profit organisations annually, equal to 1233,799 full time positions.

Many non-profit organisations rely on the assistance of unpaid workers to support them.


What can you do to help Tauranga Art Gallery?

If you have an interest in the visual arts, or are actively involved in the arts community, have a friendly disposition, love talking with people, and would like to volunteer some time to assist in the operation of Tauranga Art Gallery, we welcome your commitment.

The Gallery relies on the services of Visitor Hosts to welcome our visitors, show them around and be available to discuss with them some of the works of art on exhibition.
