Tauranga Art Gallery provides a facility for small and large functions, corporate receptions, presentations, cocktail parties, performances and events, right in the heart of the city's CBD, on the corner of Wharf Street and Willow Streets.Tauranga Art Gallery has been nominated in the Corporate Events Guide People's Choice Awards 2010, under the category of 'Best Nationwide Private Venue Hire'.

Available spaces
Atrium: Capacity 250 people
Education Studio: Capacity 40 people (seated)
The spaces available are for hire outside of Gallery opening hours (10am – 4:30pm daily) and are subject to the requirements of the exhibitions installed.
Costs
Venue hire prices are negotiable depending on the style and size of the function or event being held in the Gallery.
Catering
Catering is arranged by the organisation hiring the venue. The Gallery has a catering kitchen with a commercial oven available for use.
Technical equipment and assistance
A range of technical equipment, plus assistance from qualified technical staff, is available.
Equipment includes a public address system, microphone and stand, data projectors and screens, DVD players, lectern, seating (80 chairs), and trestle tables. Additional costs may apply.
Security
The Gallery will determine necessary security levels appropriate for your function.
