Venue Hire

Tauranga Art Gallery provides a facility for small and large functions, corporate receptions, presentations, cocktail parties, performances and events, right in the heart of the city's CBD, on the corner of Wharf Street and Willow Streets.

Available spaces

Atrium: Capacity 250 people
Education Studio: Capacity 40 people (seated)

The spaces available are for hire outside of Gallery opening hours (10am – 4:30pm daily) and are subject to the requirements of the exhibitions installed.

Venue hire prices are negotiable depending on the style and size of the function or event being held in the Gallery.

Catering

Catering is arranged by the organisation hiring the venue. The Gallery has a catering kitchen with a commercial oven available for use.

Technical equipment and assistance

A range of technical equipment, plus assistance from qualified technical staff, is available.

Equipment includes a public address system, microphone and stand, data projectors and screens, DVD players, lectern, seating (80 chairs), and trestle tables. Additional costs may apply.

Security

The Gallery will determine necessary security levels appropriate for your function.
