Twenty-three works from the Victorian and Edwardian eras, were sourced from around New Zealand for Love, Life & Loss: Emotive and Evocative Paintings from the Victorian and Edwardian eras. In a sense each featured artwork tells a story of life from the 19th and 20th centuries, encompassing the three major themes: love, life and loss. With titles such as Trespassing, The Quarrel and If No One Ever Marries Me, some of the artworks are sentimental and all will pull at the heartstrings.
